Materials of Hex Lock Nut
 
Carbon steel: Such as Q235, 45 steel, 40Cr, etc. They have good strength and toughness, and are low in price. However, they are prone to rust and are commonly used for connecting general mechanical parts.
Stainless steel: Such as 304, 316, etc. They have strong corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and are suitable for occasions with high material requirements. 316 is more resistant to chloride ion-containing environments such as the marine environment.
